ECONOMYNEXT – The Colombo Inventory Trade closed on Monday, CSE information confirmed.

The All Share Worth Index rose 0.02 p.c, or 2.12 factors, to 10,791.99.

The S&P SL20 rose 0.50 p.c, or 15.23 factors, to three,046.51.

Turnover amounted to 780 million, of which the biggest contribution was made by the capital items trade (431 million), adopted by the meals, beverage and tobacco industries (159 million).

Analysts mentioned there was no constant shopping for curiosity available in the market as traders waited for the 2024 funds, which can be introduced to Parliament on November 13.

Among the many day’s winners was Melstacorp (up 5.10 p.c), which introduced a dividend on Friday (3).

Shares of Hatton Nationwide Financial institution, LOLC, Expolanka and Browns Investments plc additionally posted positive aspects.
